Meet the Trainer
Hi, I’m Sharon and like most, my love of dogs began in early childhood and would often find myself in tears when watching Lassie! I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember, and currently have a ‘teacup’ Chihuahua, Pomeranian and two Bedlington Terriers.
My adult years highlighted a unique canine bond, and having a background in human psychology I found I was able to implement calmness between humans and our four-legged friends. I went on to study for official qualification and trained with the Institute of Modern Dog Training (IMDT) as their values resonated with me.
I found that kind, passionate, modern, and caring training makes your dog feel at peace with the world in which we live in and share – working together as one, we can solve many issues. I created SLB Dog Training to provide support for all, no matter the issue. I am not here to judge, and will not change any parameters you have set for your dog – if you want them to sleep on the bed, be on the couch, or anything else – that’s fine, we’re all unique and there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’.
A happy dog leads to a peaceful environment, and training and dog ownership should be a fun process for all of the family.
